Clothing designed around petite proportions
Finding clothing that truly fits petite proportions can be surprisingly difficult.
Founded by designer Judith Böhm, phiin grew from a simple observation: most clothing is designed around standard proportions, leaving people with petite proportions wearing garments that require alterations or never fit quite as intended. Sustainably and fairly produced options are even harder to find.
Every phiin piece is developed from the very beginning with petite proportions in mind. Rather than simply shortening sleeves or trouser legs, each design is carefully balanced through shoulder placement, rise, torso length and overall silhouette to create a natural fit for women up to 163 cm.
Guided by a design-led approach, phiin focuses on clarity, versatility, and proportion. From sleeve length and shoulder placement to rise and overall silhouette, each detail is considered from the very beginning of the design process.
Every garment is produced in collaboration with a small Fairtrade-certified manufacturer in Jaipur, India. A personal visit in 2025 established a direct relationship with the people behind production and a transparent understanding of how each piece is made.
Produced in limited quantities from certified organic cotton, each piece reflects a commitment to quality, longevity, and responsible production.
